               Tinplate Coil
Tinplate (commonly known as tinplate) refers to a steel plate with a thin layer of metallic tin plated on the surface. Tinplate is a low carbon steel rolled into a steel plate with a thickness of about 2mm, after pickling, cold rolling, electrolytic cleaning and annealing, leveling, trimming, and then cleaning, electroplating, reflow, passivation, and oiling. Cut into finished products of tin-plated sheet, and the tin used for tin-plated sheet is high-purity tin (Sn>99.8%). The tin layer can also be coated by hot dip plating. The tin layer of the tin plate obtained by this method is thicker, and the amount of tin used is large, and no purification treatment is required after tin plating.

 

 

 Tinplate(SPTE) is a common name for electroplated tin steel sheets, which refers to cold-rolled low-carbon steel sheets or strips coated with commercial pure tin on both sides. Tin mainly acts to prevent corrosion and rust. It combines the strength and formability of steel with the corrosion resistance, solderability and aesthetic appearance of tin in a material with corrosion resistance, non-toxicity, high strength and good ductility.Tin-plate packaging has a wide range of coverage in the packaging industry because of its good sealing, preservation, light-proof, ruggedness and unique metal decoration charm. Because of its strong antioxidant, diverse styles and exquisite printing, tinplate packaging container is popular with customers, and widely used in food packaging, pharmaceutical packaging, commodity packaging, instrument packaging, industrial packaging and so on.

Excellent Heat Resistance	High-temperature baking causes neither discoloration nor deterioration in material properties.
Excellent Resistance to Sulphur Blackening	The metalic choromium in TFS has excellent sulphide resistance property when canning protein-rich foodstuff such as fish. TFS compensates for the expensive sulphur resistant lacquer.
Excellent Filiform Rust Resistance	TFS has a excellent under film corrosion resistance.
Excellent Alkali Resistance	The coating in TFS is not amphoteric. Alkaline products such as detergents and dispersion colours can be packed in TFS with advantages.

Different Feature between TFS and ETP

Appearance	Even when the same surface finish as ETP is applied to the substrate steel sheet, it provides the unique surface luster characteristic of metalic chromium.
Corrosion Resistance	As it has excellent corrosion resistance after paining, it is generally used with both surfaces painted, it can also be used with the internal surface unpainted, depending on the contents.
Solderability	TFS is not compatiblr with solidering
Weldability	Although TFS can be welded when the metalic coating layer are removed, its weldablity is inferior to ETP.
Coating Weights	Unlike the multiplicity of coating weights with tin, only one standardized chromium-coated product is manufactured.
